What the ......

OK, this is one of the more strange things I have seen happen.

It's just starting to rain, and we saw a grey car rear-end a white car out on the road in front of our shop.

It tore the front of the grey car up pretty good, as well as a rear quarter panel on the white car.

It didn't appear anyone was hurt, and both drivers pulled over into the convenience store's parking lot across from us.

As we kept watching, here is where it get's weird.

The female driver of the grey car gets out, as well as the driver and a passenger in the white car that was rear-ended.

They all look at their vehicles.......and the passenger of the white car gets into the drivers seat of the grey car now, and the original driver of the grey car gets into the passenger seat of the grey car.

The driver of the white car gets back in her car.................and they all drive away.

Since they were all girls, maybe it's a female thing.

All sorts of speculation on this one. If I read right:
1) the grey car is who hit the other car
2) the grey car switched drivers but the white car didn't

My guess is they all knew each other. And the driver of the grey car was too shaken up (or otherwise "incapacitated" (i.e. intoxicated)) to keep driving and/or take blame.

(shrugs)

Maybe the one who was too drunk to drive was the actual owner of the second car and her "friend" (who assured her she was "good to go") was actually worse off than the friend in the front!

Think that mishap was interesting... Check this out.
