Back in the early 70s while working in a gas station, a girl came in grumbling that the station up the street wanted $20 to take out the summer air and put in winter air! I did it for free and got a $5 tip![emoji3]

If your going to use your rig during the colder winter months, it's best to leave the summer air in the tires.
Summer air is lighter in weight than dryer winter air.
Thus you will be getting better gas mileage if you keep the lighter summer air in your tires.
Less weight = better mileage.

I could never figure out how summer air has more moisture in it, as it gets colder from the ambient temperature the water condenses and then freezes. It seems since ice takes more space than water your tires will be overinflated.
