Anderson leveling blocks

I'm just wondering if anyone uses or has any opinion on the Anderson leveling blocks

I'm considering purchasing them and wondering if they are worth it money

I use them and love them. Love them. And when used with level mate. You can level by yourself without getting out to check.

I bought a pair but never used them, still new in the box. We were seasonal at a CG as I used it as my apartment when I was working 250 miles from home for the last 7 years of my working career. We thought we'd do more travelling with the camper but since it was set up "semi-permanent" stowing and securing all the "stuff" seemed too daunting.

All that to say, I have 'em, but haven't used 'em.

They work great. I also use with Level Mate Pro. I stay in the truck, my wife puts down the Anderson Levelers and BOOM, all done!

I thought it looked interesting too but figured I needed the blocks first

Do you ever find the need to carry any additional blocks with you?

I use Anderson leveling blocks and also the Anderson WDH. Both work great, easy to use and hook up. Takes minutes to set up trailer.

I do use other blocking, not for the leveling but for my stabilizer jacks. I had some 6x6 treated scrap laying around and cut them to 10-12 inches long and put them under my jacks. Works great for me and trailer is real stable.

I wanted to use the Anderson leveling system because I have a single axle TT. Wouldn't use anything else.

I had the blocks first and used a conventional level which works fine. Benefit to Level Mate Pro is the app on your phone which allows you to stay in the truck,pull over or back onto the Anderson levelers until app shows trailer level and the block the wheels.
I have used only the Anderson’s to level, have not needed to level side to side more than Anderson’s allow.

We use the Tri-Lynx leveling blocks. We don't need them often, but when you need them, you need them.

I have the Beech Lane levelers (very much like the Andersons, except black) and have used them only a few times (I like to find level sites). They work absolutely great! Easy to use and they act as chocks for that side of the trailer. I have dual axles and they fit fine - your mileage may vary, but the Beech Lanes can be cut to fit narrow spaces if needed.

I use them. I broke one. I don't think its super common. They replaced for some nominal fee like $15 or something. Still good to go.

I don't since my trailer has the 6-point auto level system on the trailer. We usually put down a couple of 4X4 wood blocks under the front rams. We than un-hitch the truck and place three of four "Lego" Style pads under the other four hydraulic rams. I will than pull the truck away and after the truck clears the king pin box, my wife will press the auto level button. The trailer than levels it self.

I carry but have not needed material that could be used under the leveler. FYI. I carry pre cut 4x4 limber in bumber. I then carry sewer hose in tube by Valary under frame rails. Near my outlet valve. So that lumber in bumper is always there for any use, extra cribbing under lynx levers for stabilizers, on site picnic table whatever. Uses are endless you know how that goes. And they are always there and ready.

I've broken 2 of them and both replace free. I contacted Anderson and the had me email them a picture. Both broke at the same point.

Ironically, both broke at the same campground but different sites and trips. I also have the Beech Lane version that I received as a gift. I haven't broken any of those yet.

We have electric auto-level on our 5er but LCI says you shouldn’t have the tires off the ground so I like to get it reasonably level before hitting “Autolevel”. That frequently means using something to lift the low side. My wife bought me a set of Anderson Levellers for Christmas. I wanted to get the black Beech Lane levellers because they’re suppose to be less prone to breaking, but they’ve been out of stock on Amazon.ca for quite a while.

Actually, it's quite common.

That's the weird thing about Andersen products- they break with some regularity but at least they have good customer service to replace the things that break.
