Hello everyone. I have a question about paint codes. I have read a few posts about finding the code but to no luck. I have an 06 sandpiper sport toyhauler white metal siding. It all started by removing two old graphics and in the process of it and using sticker remover and goo gone to remove remaining glue I stripped down to bare metal. I asked Forest River here in Rialto, I won't mention his name to save his embarrassment. he proceeded to give me a class on how paint fades and my trailer is 9 years old. I thought really, had no idea! Anyways he mentioned they did not use/have paint codes then. He told me to go to a body shop to have the paint matched. I saw someone said new ford white is the color. Has anyone had to match the color and could please help. For the first time I decided to start early and our first trip is Thanksgiving. Did not plan for all this but glad I have time. Thanks in advance for any help.
Even with the correct paint code you probably wouldn't have a good color match due to the weathering of the paint. Any good body shop can determine the correct paint match using a spectrophotometer and then mix up a close match. Blending in the new paint finishes the look...
