Things to do: List 1

Ok. I knew when I bought it that it had some major shortcomings, but the deal was too good to pass up.

The tire carrier >>> https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 <<< is important because the spare takes up valuable space for the top priority.
DRAWERS!

There is not one drawer in the trailer.
To fix that I have bought the following:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
and
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I plan to modify the facings on the dinette seats so a full size drawer can slide out the opening and use the doors as the inside end of the drawers.

I will be using the same parts to make a very large drawer under the bed.

I plan to follow up with pictures and maybe some video.

You should be ok with putting drawers under the bed, but be careful in installing anything under that dinette that's in the slide. Some people have installed drawers at the bottom of the wardrobe to get more storage.

There is only 8 inches of short hanging space in the whole trailer. Another thing I plan to put on a List to do.

Why be careful?

" but be careful in installing anything under that dinette that's in the slide."

?????? Think about the planned design.

I am planning to live full time in it while my house is being remodeled. Never intended to move it very often.

Because if your screws into the floor of the slide are too long, they will interfere with the regular floor of the trailer.

If you do the installation with the slide in, it won't move out.

If you do the installation with the slide out, it either won't go in, or the screw tips will put gouges in the floor/carpet beneath them.

Several stories on this forum about people (or assemblers) who have done this.

Again. Look at what I am buying. Why would I put any screws in the floor?

The surface bearings are going to be mounted to the bottom of the drawers even though the slide is about 6 inches thick but I don't know what is under there so it was obvious to me that I needed a "no screws in the floor solution".

I'm curious as to where you are mounting the spare tire carrier. You have a Toy Hauler with no rear bumper in your signature.

Not a whole lot of room up at the tongue from online pictures.

Pictures will tell.
