I have a 2019 Forest River Wildwood FSX 260RT toy hauler. I am looking for a part number or a supplier for the zippered screen panel used to cover the back opening of the unit.

Following, dealership crush the zipper slider with the ramp hinge on brand new 2020 Salem 190rt. Haven’t been able to use the camper since our purchase date of 20 June.

I have same issue, we use the trailer anyway. Just can't use the back door as a patio. Have not been able to find a replacement screen, yet.

Have you tried Forest River? I was looking for one for out GeoPro and was able to get the part number and price from Forest River.

I ordered an after market zipper slider that screws together to fix my issue. Dealership told me the screens are custom made for the units. Which would explain why it’s hard to find a part number. I got tired of waiting for warranty repair which is only going to get worse and longer with the flood in sales. I also cancelled the 5 year extended warranty I purchased for $3,500 during sale for the same reason.

Thank you. I found a replacement zipper pull at Zipper Shipper Sewing Supplies and have not had time to find out how well that works. Your zipper slider that screws together sounds like a better idea. It makes sense that the screens are custom made. However, it makes it harder for anyone to get a replacement.

I too have tried the replacement zipper slider from that manufacturer since it came with a pull tab on either side and is a perfect match. I couldn't get the zipper on without damaging the fine nylon coil teeth of the zipper since both ends of the zipper are sewn under fabric. What ended up working was the AceCamp FixnZip Zipper Repair- Black Nickel 1/4” to 5/16” Tooth and Coil Zippers from etrailer.com Code 3777065. $12.85 + $5 shipping. Not a cheap zipper slider. It comes with one tiny pull cord but there is a hole on the opposite side to attach another pull cord. Once on i had to manually feed the teeth together for maybe about 1/2” as far into the end of the zipper i could go that is sewn into the fabric on the ends. Once i did that it works like it should. I wouldnt try forcing the zipper you purchased onto the nylon coil teeth, once the coils are ruined they will never work the same. I know from experience. Thankfully i tried it at the very bottom of the screen. Only correct way to get that slider you purchased on would be to unstitch the fabric on the top or bottom of the screen and feed on the slider then restitch the fabric.

If you are still under warrantee call forest river warrantee. They will send a new one. I had this happen on my first Grey Wolf.

Yes! I have filed my under the 1 year warranty, I just didn't want to wait months for it to get ordered/processed/shipped. I was able to fix the stock one for the time being with the aftermarket zipper slider. This way I should eventually have 2 screens once all is said and done. If they need the broken screen turned in, I'm fine with that. I can take the aftermarket slider off. Good looking out though! much appreciated. I'm guessing if the magnets holding the screen are not pushed up against the ceiling, with the screen closed and slider all the way down it has the potential to get stuck in the ramp hinge when closing up the ramp.
