Tub crack

I have an 04 21WP and my tub has a crack close to the drain assembly. How difficult is it to replace? Should this be one for a pro?

Welcome to the forum!

I had a Salem tt with a cracked tub and they replaced it under warranty. Glad they did because they found out that the supports underneath were inadequate.
They suspected that is what caused the tub to crack.
Since my dealer performed the work I can't help you with the degree of difficulty, but I wouldn't think it would be that hard to do. Just be prepared to shore up the bracing underneath.

welcome. could have been better circumstances...

if it is a fiberglass tub, they can be repaired in place. lowes or home depot should be able to give u the name of someone in ur area that can do it.
may want to check the price of repair verses replace. you do want to check out the supports too. i've read that a couple others have had a similar problem due to poor support.
with that said, u may want to talk to ur dealer. they may want to make it good.
