For a trailer I agree with milzat, I would never consider similators.
But for a dually, I think they are a great option, reason being that you only need 4 instead of six, and the rims on the rear axle take a beating from sand and rocks flipped up from the front wheel, look at the steel rims on a dually that have been rotated and you will see what I am talking about, I'm sure that kind of damage on a chrome wheel or an aluminum wheel would be very costly, if not at least heartbreaking.
