Just out of curiosity I'd like to see the new Sabre floor plans too. But I don't dare show them to DW. Although she loves our floor plan I just don't want her to get any crazy ideas .

I'm wondering how the self contained bunk slide prototype turned out as its a rear living floor plan.

Sierra or Sandpiper is offering a model like this - main floor middle bunkroom on slide then upper level bath and bed to front - rear living

that is a problem, Wiscampsin...maybe the moderators can help you set up a "For Men Only" forum to exchange sensitive info like that...

That's a sweet bunk layout...I like how it preserves the rear layout with 360 degree views from inside and ample space to move around...I've never cared for the traditional rear bunk setup as you lose so much flexible space/windows in the kitchen/LR area.

All the new sandpipers come with a 20cu fridge residinual 1000 watt converter and a large microwave now, separate select slide out switches, new interior colors and more...really helped the sandpiper family...no longer offer keyless entry although. If they would go to 4 steps instead of 3 would help also.

The 371 is a monster at 43 feet. We almost went with that one until we found the 360IBL.

There is a 360IBL from Chaparral and a 390QSMB which is a brand new plan that was just announced. Queen bed in middle room with bunk above.

We specifically went to the Coachmen factory to see the 360IBL during the rally. While I liked the concept, it felt small once we were actually in it. The bunkhouse is just enough room for the ladder to clim into the bunks, so there wasn't any play space. We'd still end up with the toys in the main living area on those rainy days when we stay in. I'm waiting for next years rally to take a look at some of these newer mid-bunkhouse models to see if they addressed that concern for us.
