" Become A Pilot " Day

On June 14th 2008 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm there will be an event at the Smithsonian's National Air and Space Museum Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center Located at Dulles Air Port in Chantilly VA. There will be over 70 aircraft that will fly into Dulles Airport and then taxi under there own power to the Museum and be on display for the public to view and talk with the Pilots. There will be other activities in the Museum as well. This is an event that started when the Museum first open 5 years ago. The Udvar-Hazy Center is the only Museum that has a runway directly connected to an Airport. So if possible, if you and your family are in the area stop by the kids will love it and it is a great educational experience. Last year there were hot air balloons as well.
