Bloomsburg PA RV show

Has anyone heard any information about a show at the Bloomsburg Fairgrounds this month? I heard a snippet of a radio commercial the other day and was just wondering if anyone had any info? Thanks!

This is all I could find on it.....

158th Annual Bloomsburg Fair - September 21 - September 28, 2013

It will most likely be the local dealers, if there is only 40 units there. Heck, we are taking 20 ourselves to the Philadelphia Area Rv Show in Oaks, PA at the end of the month...

Thanks. I just called the sponsoring dealer to get more info, and it looks like its just going to be that dealer with new and used units, and some campgrounds will be present as well. I was hoping there would be some aftermarket product and accessory vendors, but it doesn't look like it. Looks like I'll be staying home after all.

Timing is everything...........the world's largest RV show is in Hershey Pennsylvania every fall, just about an hour and a half away.

Did you make this event?

The Hershey show does not have aftermarket vendors nor any accessories dealers. It is a great show to buy RV's but that is all very disappointing for someone who owns a RV and would like to make upgrades to it.

That's been the issue with the shows I've gone to so far...units for sale, but no goodie vendors. I'm not in the market for a new unit, I just want to see what's out there in terms of what I can do to the one I already have! Allentown was the same way...guess I'll keep looking.

Yeah the best thing we get down here is camping world and maybe 1 other dealership will set up an area of accessories from their store. it is very little and usually stuff to go in and around the trailer but rarely any good mod stuff.

I still don't understand why they always end up with vendors that have nothing to do with camping. For example at the January show they had a vendor for doors and windows to the stick and bricks, a vendor for jewelry and baked goods, and a vendor selling sugar bear pets. Sugar bears are cute but $400 goes a long ways towards camping trips. I think if I want a small pet I'll buy an el cheapo guinea pig or hamster at the local petsmart and not some expensive over-rated tiny flying squirrel at an rv show.

Are you sure you've been to the Hershey Show??

The entire arena is accessories, along with the out side, around the arena.

If you can't find it at Hershey, you won't find it!!

You can find everything from RV covers, to Dometic, to the guys from Winegard and Freightliner.

This is a pic of the arena floor-

Some of the outside vendors-

I was at the jacksonville, florida-------

I was at the Jacksonville RV show yesterday. Lots of vendors, especially Camping World had two large Booths set up. Lot of items to choose from
from cleaning items to Generators.

Lots of RV's $$$$$$$$$, It seem the prices had been inflated but reduced to the regular suggested list as a show price!

I agree. The Hershey show has a LOT of after market vendors. We live about 45 min. from Hershey and go each year. There are a lot of non RV related booths but that is normal. Spent some time talking to the Freightliner people about their new products and the Ford TV conversions. Just LOVE the Hershey show.
