Common.
Dangerous chemicals are used in the manufacturing of many things, not just R/Vs. Warning labels are on almost everything! The manufacturers are covering their butts with the warning.

There’s nothing sold in the USA, other than Grapenuts, that doesn’t come with a California Prop 65 warning attached.

That will probably be changed in the future.

California should come with a warning attached.

Yes...don't come here. Don't camp here!

Funny how people complain about CA but still want to move or vacation here.

I do agree that Prop 65 was one of the dumber propositions voted into law. I sure didn't vote for it. People had no idea how much the stupid law costs to put labels on practically everything.

babock, this is not directed at you, specifically. So please just read with an open mind:

Vacation there, maybe, but not so many people are wanting to move there. In fact, people are moving out and bringing their “California ways” to places where they are not welcome. It’s not that the people probably wouldn’t be welcomed to these places, but many of them try to change the way things have been and done in the places they move to by trying to make them like the way things are in California. It makes no sense to me why somebody would want to leave California and move to a place like Lewiston, Idaho, only to try to make Lewiston just like the place they left.

I don’t need to provide any citations/links/proof for this because we all have heard about what I just wrote. There are many people here who are seeing it happen to the places they have lived in their entire lives, and they are not happy about it.

We moved here to a smaller town 20 miles North of Charlotte 3.5 years ago from Southern CA it's on the West side of Lake Norman and it's really getting built up now all you see are NY, NJ, PA, OH...etc mainly from the Northeast license plates and the locals don't really care for all the out of towners moving in and complaning about local shopping and dining options which were mainly Mom and Pop establishments pretty soon the locals are going to be the minority. I'm sure many of the locals cringed when are first Starbucks opened

How this has ANYTHING to do with the chemicals in a camper...maybe you can tell me...maybe my mind isn't open.

BTW...guess what. I was kind of kidding before. Anyone can travel anywhere or move anywhere they want within the US.

I was born in California and left when I was 58. I don’t even like to visit. Anything west of the sierra, you can have it. Different views for different folks.

A while back, I was on a business trip to Carlsbad CA. Stayed at some nice hotel while the company had a sales meeting. Alcohol company, yes, people were plastered, and a lot of questionable conduct ensued.

So, as I was walking thru the open hallways of the hotel, which appeared to be concrete, open to the outside, there were prop 65 warning signs all over the place. It made me laugh. I wonder how many millions are spent every year on warning labels.

Yes,

There might be some formaldaehyde in the glue that panelling is made from. But it is not nearly as pure as it once was.

So if you have paneling in your house, camper or anywhere else there could be formaldaehye in the glues. The good news is most of the fumes off gas.......

Years ago Formaldaehyde was used much more commonly. Furniture manufactuers used glue with it in and may still. Chipboad and paneling, plywood glues had / have it.

Carbon Monoxide is a by product of buring..... In our cases propane burning on our ranges and water heater.

Therefore the warnigs.....

Like do not use a blow dryer while taking a bath.

Almost everything we sell has a California cancer warning on it. Makes it kinda meaningless. Annoying, but meaningless.

typical CYA by companies.

Prolonged exposue to formaldaehyde does in fact cause cancer. But the quanity used today is not as likely as 30 years back.
