Fallen Soldiers Final Journey

Sgt. John Beale's body arrives at Falcon Field, Peachtree City, Georgia, aboard an Air Force jet. His remains were then moved by motorcade, through my home town of Fayetteville, to his home town and final resting place of McDonough.

This is how he was honored by his neighbors who stood for hours in the sweltering summer heat to thank him for his sacrifice.

Thanks for sharing this Radio. Great tribute. Glad to see that support for our troops is still alive.

If you haven't seen the movie "TAKING CHANCE"...you owe it to yourself to pick up the DVD and watch it. It's shows how the military honors the fallen troops in their journey back to their final resting place. It stars Kevin Bacon as a USMC officer. Very moving.
