ABC nightly news says plant 97 was complete loss. 6 workers escaped uninjured. Looked up on FR website, plant 97 builds the Vibe.

Reports are saying the 5-7 people who were there were able to evacuate and had no injuries. So thankful for that.

According to news the building was vacant. So production must have been moved some time ago. Later RJD

Well according to this thread there were 5 or 6 people in the plant at the time, who knows what they were doing, but they were inside according to the artical, ONCE AGAIN I'm glad all employees got out

We have a Salem 26DBUB being built right now. I am assuming and hoping it was not at that plant. Thank goodness no one was hurt.

It was a Vibe plant. They just had a lay off of 50 to 60 people today and were out of the building by noon. Fire started where LP is stored.

If Vibes are no longer being made, then what is manufactured in Plant 59? I did a little checking and found they were hiring for axles and chassis at that plant as well as cabinets which suggests they are manufacturing something. I do wonder BECAUSE our trailer is in Elkhart getting major fixes including axles and leaves (along with two new sides, very long story). Anyway, they couldn't get our trailer into any service bays because they are so backed up and put our trailer into a manufacturing bay on Friday to work on the the axles. Are there numerous plants that do axles OR is our trailer in that 'total loss'? We're hoping to hear from them about this and a total loss for us would actually be a blessing at this time. Weird, I know, but a blessing.

I am confused now. There was no fire yesterday. It all happened in 2017? And Forest River layed off all their employees because Vibe sales were down so all their plants were empty? I think I read all of that on the internet. Except Plant 51. That is where they make the alien spacecraft.
