While at it, I read someone else talking about a slide noise being a defect. We are new to slides -- our three slides make a noise which is loud, but we were told that was normal. Is that correct?

Thanks.

Deb, please contact Rhonda Yoder at (574) 534-3167. She'll need your make, model, and VIN along with other purchase information.

There is no free extended warranty.
Depending on your unit it's $150.00 or $200.00 for an additional year.

Looking back at posts I see someone said an additional warranty for a nominal "fee"
Is that what your were referring to?

With that being said Columbus is offering two year warranty.

Yes, that must be what I was thinking of, don't know now. So sorry.

What is Columbus, an RV insurance company? Thanks.

Deb, I did not see your reference to "FREE." The extended warranty is not free, there is a modest charge for it.

"1.9 million vehicles made in the last 20 years" - that's 95,000 per year, and let's be generous and call it maybe 1000 people complaining of "lemons". That's a failure rate of 1% - most industries would be envious of that. Most mass produced products have a 3% to 5% failure rate, including the automobile industry.

Thanks for the link. Those 5er's look wonderful, but I'm afraid my DH would not go for it, he likes smaller TT's.
