TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - Jan. 16, 2006) - This is an urgent lifestyle information update for Canadians considering a dramatic improvement in their vacation and travel plans. The five-day (5) 2006 Spring Motor Home & Trailer Show starts Wednesday, March 1st at the International Centre in Mississauga. The Spring Motor Home & Trailer Show has been at this location for over 30 years, it is a five (5) day show, and over 263 brand names are represented. This is the only recreation vehicle show in Canada with factory-sponsored exhibits and factory-selected RV experts who can answer attendees' questions about recreation vehicles. It's a one-on-one learning experience that could change some outdated Canadian ideas about affordable vacations and travel for many people. The 2006 Spring Motor Home & Trailer Show, known to RV enthusiasts as "the big one", starts Wednesday, March 1st at 10:00am at the International Centre, on Airport Road, just north of the main airport entrance. However, about 70 per cent of all the people in Ontario don't even know what the letters RV stand for. An RV is a recreation vehicle - a motor home or a trailer. This is the show that those people should attend. This is where novices learn about the safe and secure way to take the family on a holiday anywhere in North America and about the many affordable alternatives to owning a cottage or ski chalet. First-time show attendees are always amazed that a recreation vehicle (an RV) can be an affordable retirement home, or it can mean owning a cost effective winter getaway to the South. In addition to focusing on a great selection of affordable, entry-level RV's, this show presents all the RV's on the market - from affordable folding trailers to luxurious highway coaches. At the 2006 Spring Motor Home & Trailer Show, there are no stairs to climb because all the displays are on one floor. They can even be seen from a wheelchair, if need be. Visitors to the 2006 Spring Motor Home & Trailer Show will see affordable folding trailers, larger travel trailers, fifth wheels, van conversions, slide-ins for use with a pick-up truck, all sizes of self-propelled motor homes, luxurious highway coaches, and park models that are an affordable alternative to a small house or a retirement condo. The Exhibitor List also includes accessories and parts stores, RV clubs and associations, RV resort operators, tour operators, leasing specialists, and major banks. The 2006 Spring Motor Home & Trailer Show runs Wednesday, March 1st at 10:00am through Sunday, March 5th at 6:00pm, at the International Centre in Mississauga, on Airport Road, at Derry Rd. - just north of the main airport entrance. Ticket prices are posted on the show website. As always, the International Centre does not charge show visitors for parking.
