Air conditioning - whatís fair to expect?

Weíre new to hybrids and had pop ups previously. I could get them ice cold at nite.

We have a 3 bed hybrid, 2014 Coachman freedom express 21TQX. My hybrid gets cool, but not cold. According to the thermostat on my heater switch (which has been quite accurate in cooler temps) I am at 70 degrees fairly consistently in the camper. Wonít get cooler than that. Am I being greedy? (My wife says Iím overreacting).

A few addíl pieces of information: temps at our beach town this week have been @84-87, I am using PUGs, minimal shade on AC unit but camper temps remain the same throughout the day n nite, it is a Dometic unit, Iíve cleaned the filter and made sure the intake area is duct taped well, just had it looked at by dealer who indicated the cool air temp was 56 degrees and had a differential of @24 degrees.

Appreciate any thoughts or suggestions....

Are you using Popup Gizmos and Reflectix or the solar blanket equivalent? There are hundreds of threads about them here.
A 3 bunk end hybrid will benefit greatly from them, with all that extra canvas.
