Almost time for camping

After a nice but long winter season, I brought her home. Time for some mods and our first trip. The kids are excited. Click image for larger version

We agree. My wife and I can't wait, our first trip is in April. Last weekend we installed a Progressive 30A EMS, Sony Bluray player and DirecTv.

Nice setup. What do you get for mileage? Was kinda shocked on the way home today. Not in a good way.

Worst was 7.5 mpg and the best was 13 mpg with the trailer. 7.5 was in a bad headwind (20+mph). I'm not a speed demon (well sometimes) with the trailer. Most of the time I'm cruising 60 - 65 mph.

That's good to hear. I was averaging 8.7 in a pretty bad head wind. I was starting to think something was wrong. I'm also not a speed demon for the most part. But it's hard having that hemi at your disposal.

Agreed. I do have some fun at times without the trailer. That picture is before I installed the air bags. The truck has a great ride with or without the trailer.

Yup weather down here in the south (eh, Southern New England) hit 80 on Wednesday. DW wanted to know when I would take the cover off.

We're heading to Mammoth Cave NP tomorrow!
(There's lots more at Mammoth than just a big hole in the ground!)
