Ants?

Hi all, today we took a look at the 2017 Roo 233s were thinking of buying. I got to see it before it was detailed which was great because I could see where dirt and such had collected in the canvas. I also saw ants. Not sure how worried I should be about that. It was sitting empty most of the winter on their lot. I saw a few largish ants on the back of the couch, and on the roof. Advice?

Large black ants could be carpenter ants.

If they've taken up residence over the winter, you're going to have a heck of a time getting rid of them. They're probably in the walls.

I’ve had good luck over the years with Terro ant bait. They take it back to the nest and it kills the colony.

You have to ask yourself if you want to deal with it if the dealer can’t.

Ants?

We decided to pull the plug on that Roo. I’ve seen what carpenter ants can do and was really feeling anxious about there being an infestation in the walls with damage. Dealer refunded the deposit
