my first suggestion would be to have a canvas repair shop, usually marine, look at it.
they are used to lots of different types of repairs.
also, Bear Creek Canvas might be able to fix it, but you'd have to detach it and send it in.
finally, most of the canvas ends have manufacturer tags inside. our Roo has a tag from T.J. Snuggles in the Elkhart area.
not sure who made the canvas ends that far back. i think that was the last year of Salem hybrids. they only made them for a couple of years.
i doubt if there's anyone at FR who could have any info.
