Checking roof sealing

I have a 2019 Rockwood Roo 233S I purchased last year. I have looked at the sealing around the roof several times and everything has been good. I just checked it before getting it ready for winter and noticed between the roof material and the gutter there is a very small bead of caulk between the two. In several spots the 2 have come apart and creating a crack in the caulk. I'm not sure how the roof is sealed below this spot. What would be the suggested fix for this? Do I use Eternabond tape there or can I just clean up the caulk and put a new bead down (of what)? The issue with the tape is the ability to get a good seal in the gutter because the gap is so small. It is weird how thin the caulk is between this which got me thinking is this just to prevent water dripping between the gutter and the siding?

Did you remove the old caulk? The only thing I would be afraid of is how thin the caulk is that I would rip or damage the roofing material. Did you go with the 2" or 4" tape? Thanks

I had same situation on mine. Dirt makes it look like its cracking. I wiped it down with mineral spirits and found it to be ok!
