cleaning gunk off of bunk door cargo latches

i finally got around to cleaning the Roo.
one thing that's always an issue is the gunk that covers the cargo latch arms' plastic covers.

i had tried all kinds of cleaners that at best, had limited success.
then i tried LA's Totally Awesome Cleaner. it's been recommended for things on many RV forums, but it works great at cleaning the gunk.
they are now white again!

Wal-mart carries it and I have to tell you, I haven't found anything yet it won't clean. That and the stuff is cheap makes it great.

I've been warned to rinse thoroughly after using it. Which I did, at night, in the dark, when someone told me about it after I used it to remove black streaks. Don't waste your money on the expensive/fancy "black streak remover" gunk they sell for RV's. It doesn't work. It comes in a squirt bottle and a refill at Dollar Tree.
