Hooking direct tv up to my 2013 233s...

We have a portable dish we take to tailgates, the Roo is going with us this year to the games. My question is can I just screw the coax cable from the dish into the back (where you would hook campsite cable up) and then run another coax to my direct tv box on the other side and the satellite work or will I have to just run the coax directly to the box for the outside tv and bypass the camper?

As far as I know, that should work. Should be easy to try out at home I the driveway

I have a 2013 233S also, on my RV backside between the slide out and side bunk I have an outlet with 2 cable connections, one for campground cable and the other for satellite. Both of these connections go to the same 2 jacks behind the TV.

Do what Tim Cowracer suggests: try it at home first. I have 2 Sat Ins and 1 Cable In on my Wildcat so I had some experimenting to do... and it wasn't so easy at a remote campground in south central Oklahoma!

We have the same trailer. The outside coax inlet on the back will activate all the access points in the trailer. Just hook up your receiver to one of them and then connect that to your TV. In that situation, I would move the TV outside and hand on the outside mount and connect the box to the coax out there; assuming your satellite will need to be on the back side of the trailer for a good signal anyway.
