RV Cover Recommendation
We just purchased a 2018 Shamrock 24ws and are looking for recommendations for the best cover based on quality and fit.

Welcome to the forum. You're going to like it here.
To cover or not to cover is sort of like the gasser vs diesel debate. Covering eliminates certain problems, like fading decals, leaf and berry stains and so on. But then introduces certain issues where the cover rubs on the finish, and mold, and some other issues.
Not to mention the hassle of putting it on and off.
Someday I hope to have one of those skinny-legged carport shelters for my 5th wheel. While that's a bit more expensive than a cover it is to me the best solution. Until then the trailer stays uncovered, but parked so that tree junk doesn't fall on it.

I have an Elements cover for our 2015 23IKSS Roo. It is a very good cover and can usually be found on sale at Camping World. I recommend you check them out. Its pretty easy to install and take off, and definitely keeps the trailer much cleaner than without it. Worth the trouble for sure.
As Radio said it will give the decals, as well as the gelcoat and plastic parts, protection from fading and UV damage.

Calmark is by far the best but they cost alot also.

RV Cover Recommendation
There are no advantages to NOT covering that I am aware of.
If you are in a harsh winter climate, and you cover, you are avoiding the damaging freeze-thaw-freeze-thaw scenario by protecting your TT from the elements. For $200 and an hour of your time, I say Why Not? But that is just my humble opinion of course.

Purchased this one for out 21SS at the beginning of this year. So far it's been great. Seams to be made very well and with the large zippered sides I can still access the trailer throughout the winter to place items inside or hide from the wife!

Have to disagree.
In sunny climates, having no cover will do damage to the decals.
I know it has done damage to my RVs.

Decals...never thought of those. Well there you have it buy a cover.

Wind and covers are a bad combination. You get wear from the cover rubbing or slapping your rv. I've been down that road already. I don't cover, but have considered a partial cover.

Living in Orlando I don't have a choice, the sun would destroy my TT quickly. I tried the cheaper covers, they don't last. Whatever brand you buy it needs to be made of Sunbrella material. I bought a Calmark.

You probably didn't have the proper one. The RV covers these days come in all sizes and configurations, and using the straps included, you get very little movement on the RV with a properly fitted cover.

We only cover when winterized. The Roo gets a good cleaning before the cover goes on. When it comes off in the spring she's still clean and ready to go.
