Showing off my new camper
Hey Ya'll.
I brought home my new 2008 Shamrock 21SS on February 7th. I have had a show and tell weekend and now I am camping out in the driveway. What an awesome time! So far everything has gone well. I am gonna try to post some pictures.

Congrats on your new HTT, nice camper, you will have lots of fun with it.
We have a HTT also and they are fun.
We recently got a LE 29BhBS and hope to enjoy it, but will probably keep it stored and parked at beach, since we dont plan to buy a big TV for a while, if ever. This will be a new adventure for us. Hope it works out.
Camping is fun, meet a lot of nice people. The people on this site are very friendly and knowledgable, enjoy.

hey, my forward slide out is as big as that trailer! :-)
When I was trading up from my tent trailer, I wanted to buy something like that Shamrock. I settled for the Keystone Outback, because it had hard slides. (where I camp...it's always cold)
I miss my tent trailer...

Congratulations Amy! It's funny, reading back to your first posts, anticpating it coming, and now the obvious joy you have with it, makes us feel like family watching a young'un with their first camper. Be sure to ask if you encounter any questions along the way. Great pics, by the way.

Thanks Ya'll.
I am enjoying the camper. I am going on my first "out of the driveway" trip next week. I will be practicing backing up and pulling the camper on some back roads around here. I can't wait for the first trip and experience.

If no-one has mentioned it to you Amy, backing a trailer up is much easier if you hold the bottom of the steering wheel. My dad showed me that years ago. I guess it's a brain/hand/eye connection thing.... Your hand movement is the same as the direction you want the trailer to go instead of opposite it.

Thank you Welshman for the advice. I had been told that and it helped. I did the backing thing Sunday and it went pretty good. Of course my Daddy talked me through each movement but I got it pretty good.
