Stop the leaking of ROO 23ss bunk ends

Just finished with the cutting and placing of the 1 1/4” pcp on the rain gutters of my ROO. Pictures included. Cut on table saw with friends help.

Looks good! I’m guessing this is just for storage? Not meant to travel?

I plan to drill a hole on each end, then slip rope through each one, tie knot on each one, take rest of rope and then tie and fasten to hinge. Should be able to travel without it pulling away from gutter. The hole(s) will be on bottom piece of pvc you see in picture.
