Winterizing problem

Hi folks,
So our first time winterizing our 2019 Roo, so we paid a guy to help us learn how to do it. Ran into a problem that the guy couldn't solve, hoping for some insight from this great community. When he was running the antifreeze through the inlet valve, found that antifreeze ended up in the fresh water tank. The guy basically said that was "going backwards" but could figure out why that was happening. Any thoughts?

Through what inet valve? The city water connection or winterization line? It almost sounds like he was using the city connection and the water pump check valve did not seat.

He must have been using the winterizing valve as it did work to fill the hot and cold lines (it came through the low point drains).

That's what the guy said as well. Didn't make sense. Will try to post a pic. Not at the TT at the moment. Wonderful husband wonders if the guy did use the wrong valve and was covering for himself?
