First Responders?

I didn't notice a sub-forum for First Responders; Fire/Aid/Law Enforcement, But why not...

I retired in May after 36 years as a Deputy Sheriff in SW Washington (Cowlitz County), straight out of the Army. Eighteen days later, Mount St Helens erupted so I hit the ground running... I worked in Corrections, Patrol, Investigations, and Services Divisions. Additional assignments included Marine Enforcement, Field Training Officer, Firearms Instructor, Range master, Sniper, Search and Rescue Coordinator. Detective Sergeant, and Patrol Sergeant.

My wife and I have been RV'ing for one year and LOVE it. Spent about 30 nights out this year, just coming back from a 2 week Oregon/California coast trip. Our little Rockwood Mini lite 2104S is perfect for the 2 of us and it is easy to tow and park with my 2015 F150 5 liter V8. I've been averaging 11.4 mpg towing, which isn't too bad, and the power (360 hp) is all I need to drag it (5,000 lb) around.

If there was a forum for that here, what benefit would it serve to the other 55 subforums?

I don't mind if there's a sub-forum for first responders or not, but at least allow me to Thank You and your wife for the years of service in the military and community uniforms you have worn. Many may ask why I would thank your wife also, but as many veteran's and active duty know ~ our families were or are as much a part of our careers as we were.
Thank you again Joe,

I have and have had many close friends and family that were/are first responders and my hat is off to all that choose to dedicate their lives to a greater responsibility. I thank all of the first responders on this forum and all of them everywhere!!

So why not! Great idea!
