years ago i worked with the Sec./Treasurer of the PHSA. he let me ask him questions and request stories constantly.
he never got tired of talking about it and he was so humble.

the way this country is going, i doubt if we'll ever see a generation like the Greatest Generation.

it's great to see your friend still living life to the fullest!
tell him we all owe his generation an eternal debt that can never be repaid.

Very well spoken indeed. He appears to be in good physical condition from I can see in the photo.

Wow - I was just 4 months old when PH was bombed.

The memorial is breath taking - very solemn sight to see drops of oil still floating to the top.

One of our neighbors is a Pearl Harbor survivor. He's still pretty spry and still driving a car. It's a bit scary when he and his wife throw a party and there are a half-dozen cars, all with PH Survivor plates, in the street!

Wonder if they have strippers there? Bless them if they do.

I went to Pearl Harbor 3 years ago and visited the Arizona Memorial. It was a very sobering time. Several times during my visit, there was a lump in my throat. We did all of the tourist stuff and I was never so proud of our vets and to be an American. I got to meet two WWII vets there and it was wonderful to talk to them. I wish we could bring this country back to the level of patriotism that we had back them. God Bless the USA!
