Nobody ever promised me that I would become rich from a military career, or retiring from the military. My retirement pay posts in my account every month, and I'm thankful for that. It's better than nothing!

It is not much, but it is always good to get more. I am glad for my retired pay, and glad to have served. Go Air Force.

I didn't think I would make it to twenty years. I got out after 12 years. Six years later I was called back in to go to Iraq. Surprised but one of the best things to happen to me. I was able to stay on active duty for the next 8 years.

My retirement pay allowed me to get my TT and enjoy RVing!

I'm grateful for any pay!

John

After I left the Army after nine year I was looking forward to never being in the military again. A few years later I joined the National Guard and what I was thinking about was the money I would make for retirement after 60 years old, I never dreamed that the insurance would be worth so much more than a few dollars. Both for me and DW
