My MOS was 91B2S (Special Forces Medic) However, in its wisdom, the Army decided I needed to drive a truck. Later, when I was short, I ran a mimeograph machine at group HQ.

USAF security police, 1969-1975. For you former dog handlers out there, I hope you had and opportunity to check out the movie Megan Leavey. It was directed by my daughter’s high school classmate and best friend of 35 years.

My husband was an Army Attack Helicopter Pilot for his entire 20 year career. I was Air Force, and I was an Aircrew Egress Systems Repairman on fighter aircraft during Vietnam, initially; then, I was an Air Force Reserve Recruiter, recruiting Flight Crews for C-141 Aircraft!

I was an Aviation Machinist Mate from 85 to 05. Worked on the SH-3H, SH-60B, little on the H-2 and UH-1, SH-60F and the UH-60H. In the middle of that I took a shore tour as a SERE instructor. Loved that tour of duty.

Active AF from 71 -74 as an AF Loggie....a supply guy....(ship stores for the navy and quartermasters for the army guys.). Spent 30 more years supporting as a civilian retiring out of AF Special Ops HQ at Hurlburt Fld. Next door neighbor and good friends were K-9...and had the bite marks to prove it. Apparently, some patrol dogs just wanna bite something...even if it's you.

I started out in the same job as Chuck Norris, USAF Law Enforcement. Had a humanitarian transfer to a base that had no cops so I was cross trained into communications.
