Serious man. Those things are BIG time collectors items. Mike has several from what I understand. This one isn't all original but he still has all the original parts. He put a BIG motor and some other custom items on this one. He's been working on it awhile. Of course completely ORIGINAL ones go for a bunch, I'd bet this one that Mike has refurbed would catch a VERY large price were he to sell it. Don't think he will though, not this one. He does buy and restore and sell them as a hobby.

Frig, I fly kites and fool with carpentry for a hobby and that's complicated enough for me. But I understand the talent and dedication.... my dad used to restore old 'hit & miss' stationary engines - Fairbanks Morse, Gilson, etc - that first replaced horses in farming, running mills, etc, bringing them back to their full original pinstriped glory. He loved the detail of restoration, and loved the unmistakable sound of them firing up.

Yes I have parts for four i am working on. The yellow one is the correct color for the year "tweety bird yello" and that is a 1976 with a title. The yellow one was bought off ebay for 400.00 and came in boxes. 2000.00 later there it is. All work electrical body and paint was done by me and bud light.
I was offered 3k the week I finished it and passed. Its to much fun to ride. I was also offered a trade for a newer four wheeler that I thought about doing and the wife said h33L no. Thats your toy keep it
That one is complete and will NOT leave this garage for under 3.5k. market is down a bit right now but it changes every week and mine is not for sale unless I find someone willing to pay my price.
The frame, Tank, Seat are original on that one and everything else is brand new.
It has a 110cc 4 speed manual trans on it and we clocked at 67 mph. does a whelly in 3rd gear if you want to hang on to it.
I am now restoring a 69 to all original when I have time I will get back on that one and another 73/78 softail for the wife to putt around on.
That is my hobby when I have time/money and they do sell anywere 3/5 k if done right.
Mike

It that first one the 1972 has the fork stop and the tank tabs we talked about on the phone help me out. That is early 1972 and that was the first year of the soft tail/Rear shocks.
Hook me up and I will send you the money. We then can pick it up when we meet in August at Degray.
Thanks, Mike
