Cool Here's our ride

This is our '03 VTX 1800C that gets us around Nebraska. Weather teased us last Saturday with 76 degrees, so we got out and rode. Then the next day it snowed 2". Can't wait till Spring to put more miles on it and start camping.

Hello flatrock, that is a good looking bike. The weather teased us to on Sunday when it got to 67 degrees. The wife and I got out our bikes and rode about 70 miles. It sure did feel good to be back on the bike again. I will be glad when summer is back and we can get back to camping and riding the bikes. It is another beautiful day here today 65 degrees and I am stuck at work, but without the job we would not be able to afford the toys.

Viper48, I have to agree with you on both having to work to afford the pleasures and being ready for summer. I'm ready to start riding more. Plus we get to pick up our new 5'er in the next 2 weeks, so then we'll be ready start camping again. We took about 2 years off from camping, but are ready to get back into it and excited for new adventures (and hopefully Sturgis).

Hi flatrock, congrats on the new 5er. The wife and I have been looking at some new 5er's also but we have decided to keep the one that we have for a while. I don't know what you are paying for diesel were you live but it is $3.89 a gallon here in Asheville, NC. and going up every day. If fuel does not come down some everyone will be riding motorcycles and scooters. Show some photos of that new 5er when you get it and happy camping.
