Looks like any one of the countless pull outs along the BRP.

Ken - That was actually out near the Tail of the Dragon in NC/TN. Same scenery though. I'm actually out this week at the BRP in NC and VA practicing some social distancing!

My wife’s health became the issue, and we had to give up travelling by motorcycle. We travelled the BRP, Deals Gap, Smoky Mountains, Cherohala? and more areas down that way than I can count.
Here we were as recent as October on the way back home indirectly from the Outer Banks. Not a lot of room to take this photo with the motorhome and our toad, but ya gotta do what ya can.
Ride often and cruise safely.

Love your bike.

I'm addicted and still ride daily at almost 80 but my wife hasn't ridden with me in many years due to fear of an accident. Might have to go to a trike.....lol

I ride a restored '05 Yamaha cruiser.....my 31st bike in 60 riding years and counting

Ride safe

Wow! I hope to be riding that long! Need to keep my legs strong though. 965 lbs of bike can get away from you! Are you riding a V-Star. Had a 2003 V-Star 1100 for 15 years until I got this Star Venture. It was a great cruiser.

I think I modded everything possible on my last bike. Still 100% stock on this one. Yamaha really did it right - even the seat is comfortable.

Thanks. Yeah, I hear you about strong legs & back and have gone from heavy to lighter. My V-Star is 650 and weighs 501 lbs. After owning & loving Honda bikes (20 incl 3 Goldwings), I love Yamaha. Once had a Venture also (great machine).

We had an RV in Franklin, NC and I always thought how cool it would be to ride those hills. We did so in Mustang conv but not with bike.

How many miles have you put on Star Venture?

I only have about 5,000 miles on it in 2 years. Right after I got it my dad passe away and 7 months later my wife's mother died. So we've spend most of the past 18 months settling estates, selling houses, etc. That's done and I'm retiring next year, so we will be all over the US in the RV and with the bike.

Funny, we always said we'd have a Goldwing one day...then when it was time, Honda downsized it into some sort of sport-tourer and we did not like it at all.

I'll be riding through Franklin nest week.

Ride safe!
