And GOD said, Let there be light:
this isn't an earth shattering idea, and it's quite possible that someone has already done this, ... but if they did, I missed that post, ... just something I've been wanting to do with my Harbor Freight Flip Lights, ... I saw they're on sale this weekend, usually their sale price is $2.99, so the $1.99 is special, ... sometimes they'll be the free item, but that's rare, ... anyway, it's easy to see the advantage of having a light inside the storage compartments, ... DW loves it, so I guess I don't need to say anything else, ... gotta get two more for the other two compartments, ...
((don't know why the pic of the light is split in half)

Great post!
I see I'm not the only one!
Been using these for about 2 years now.
Our local Rural King often has them on sale for 99¢.
I've got them stuck everywhere!

I've got like 6 directional bat operated LED touch lights all over our TT....never have enough lights in cabinet. Those you bought....work very well from your pics.

I did that and it really works nice. I put in a couple short sheet metal screws on the top of the compartment (underside of bed platform) so it is protected by the aluminum support tubes running under the bed

All my storage compartments including both sides of the pass through came with switch activated lights.
If I did not already have them Id install them because my previous camper did not have any.
This is a GREAT Mod!!

I like the lights, but they wont stay stuck to the inside of the cabinets. They keep falling down.

Screws are probably the most secure way to attach the lights, but where I mounted mine it would have been very hard if not impossible to place the screws in the exact spots to match the holes, ... so I used Velcro, but not their small patches, I removed their Velcro and the two magnets and then shaved the backside down smooth and used my own Velcro, ... has a much larger hold surface and I'll just have to hope for the best, right now everything looks like that's a good fix, ... also got the other two installed just a few minutes ago, ...

I re-thunk the mounting, this is better
Well I re-thunk my mounting method from post 10, ...the Velcro is certainly the easiest application is my situation, just stick it in position and done, ... because installing two screw in the precise position thru the small doors, is next to impossible working upside down, ... but when using the hook and loop, often times it is stronger than the adhesive and the adhesive will pull loose when trying to separate the two pieces, ... and these lights will need to be removed every time for new batteries, ... so I changed to a combination of both Velcro and screws, ... installed screws on a wooden block so the lights will be held in place by screws(easier to remove for new batteries) but the block is mounted with the Velcro which is intended to be a permanent mount and not ever removed, ... I know I'm going to like this better the first time I need to change a dead battery, ...

Those look pretty cool but I've been using the motion detector ones in our cabinets and cubby holes. Like these They work well and even come on if the cabinet is opened in the daylight but the interior light is low.
