On 120v most 6 cu. ft. fridges draw about 3 amps. I think a 600 watt inverter would be able to handle that. Make sure you use a true sine wave inverter. If you happen to be in an accident while you have the propane on it might not be a good thing. For this reason I keep the propane off while driving. I'm aware that most people travel with the propane on. I have yet to see anyone stop and turn off their fridges prior to pulling up to a gas pump. In most places its against the law to have a open flame within 20 feet of a gas pump. For me the liability is just not worth taking that chance.
