Awning Cleaner

I have seen and used several awning cleaner's over the past couple years, and have not had very good luck with any of them, until now.
This new mixture works and works very good. It's one cup of water, 1/2 cup of bleach, and 1/2 cup of vinger ( To get enough you will have to expand on the ratio above). I then rolled the awning up for about 4 hours, when I unrollled the awning it was clean (no ordor, no mildew) I then rinsed the awing off top and bottom and let it air dry. Used a small garden type spayer to apply the mixture.

Maybe that's why this formula didn't work for me. A&E has the same (or close to it) formula on their web site but they say to roll the awning up for 10 minutes. Like a fool I believed them and it didn't clean a thing. I took someone else's advice from the forums here and used Tilex Mold and Mildew on the stains on my awning and as soon as it hit them they started to dissolve. Great stuff and much cheaper than the store bought awning cleaners.

Thanks for the info though glad to hear this does work...
