Cheap crank mod

I don't mind cranking down the stabilizers by hand but I did not like the supplied crank rod sooo... I had a couple of braces as in brace and bit that I found at a garage sale (2 for $3.00). I cut off the offset of the original crank rod, flatten the end a little so the brace could get purchase and VIOLA! I have a nice to operate crank.

Thanks,

I have a cordless drill, but every time I want to use it the battery needs recharging. Plus the manual method burns some calories at gets the blood moving.

Nice mod! After going through three stabilizer motors in just over a year, I gave up and have been manually laboring ever since. The motors were painfully slow anyway.
