For bugs I just used some baby wipes. Those things can clean practically anything.

I never thought of using awesome on the awning. We have some around here for use on laundry stains, but I went and bought the RV stuff when I did mine last fall. Took the whole bottle to get mine done. I'm going to have to try the awesome route next time.

The best thing we found is Clorox Clean Up. I spray it on a dry Swiffer pad and then wipe the awning down. Then take another dry pad and spray water on it and wipe the awning down. Works great!

We use Mean Green from Dollar General store for awning diluted with water 1:4 and for cleaning the bugs off front cap undiluted and scrub with plastic scratcher.

I agree with using "Awesome" that stuff works on so many things... Even on red wine in carpets.

Hydrogen peroxide and water 50/50. Let the bubbles do the work and the bugs come right off.

My awning is Dometic and says same recipe 1/4 cp dish soap, 1/4 cp bleach to 5 gal of water. Swab on and roll up to soak for 5 min and rinse well.

For a quick clean, I use a Windex hose end window washer. Comes in a green, 1qt bottle. Spray it on, let it soak for a few minutes and rinse thoroughly. Gets the windows nice and clean at the same time, although you may want to wipe them with a cloth or squeegee to get rid of any residual streaks
