Cleaning the outside
So I have owned a camper for a couple of years but in the world of campers I am still a newbee. So by now others might have figured this out but I just did and thought I would share. After 2 years the front of my camper had developed a lot of grime and geen alge?? So last weekend I found a bottle of Black Streak Remover (camco) that I bought at Wal-Mart on a whim some time ago. I have to say the results were stunning. The front cap looks new and shiney. So if you need to clean your camper I would highly recommend trying this. I have included a pic but not sure if its high enough quality to really show off what was going on. Its sort of hard to see but the top few ribs are done. Also know I have no water on this site so for this to work was awesome.

Try some cleaner called Awesome, found in Family Dollar stores and Dollar General stores. Small spray bottle costs a dollar, 1/2 gallon is $3. Stuff works on contact, and a lot cheaper than the stuff at wal mart.

Black Streak Remover
Be real careful with cleaners. Some are more caustic than others. Black Streak Remover is designed to clean the trailer without drying out the decals. I used a "green" cleaner on my Sunline and although it did a great job cleaning, it was a little too harsh for the decals.

Oh that is a real good point. My cherokee letters are in lousy shape. They came that way. One of our e's wasn't even on when we got it but we did get from the factory. But I can't stress enough how easy this mildew came off and it looks new again... well from the front side anyway!

"Purple stuff" concentrate by the gallon is available at Wal Mart that works very well, also. It's also great for those road bugs that seem to get glued on to the front of campers! Randy
