Connecting drain pipes

Hello,

Nothing sexy about this. I'm getting older and my hands don't have the strength to overcome the resistance when fitting two sewer pipes together or sometimes fitting the pipe to the outlet. They don't go far enough to be secure and so I wear myself out trying to get then snug.

I would value any suggestions.

Thank you

Sewer Pipe

I bought two sets, but they don't overcome the resistance. Should I use WD 40 or petroleum jelly first?

I use 2 oil filter pliers. Those camco things did not work for me. Blaster garage door lubricant would probably help. I would just keep it off the O-ring. I also filled the stubs a couple of times and that helped and still sealed.
