Drains

Just got our new 3008W. There are two drains, one for the kitchen and the other for the bathroom grey and black water. Has anyone connected the two, for easy draining of both at the same time? My brother in law has hooked up an eave trough between the two. The kitchen gray water flows in the other drain.

For the purposes of hooking both outlets on a full hook-up site, you can buy a outlet cap for the galley tank that has a 3/4" hose connection and ran that to the sewer separately.

You can also hard plumb the galley tank into the main outlet just before the slide valve. You have to be careful cutting the holes to make sure it is a good fit at both ends. Also have to add another slide valve. Permanent solution and no parts/hoses to carry around.

I was able to hard plumb the gally tank and the grey tank together on my 30KFB. The TT already had a dual valve drain (black & grey) in the back. I simply had to get a pipe between the two.

I really didn't like having to drain the galley then pull up to drain the grey and black tanks AND connecting the two gave me a bunch of peace of mind from a capacity standpoint. We can camp a week now without filling the tanks.

You can get the cap with 3/4" fitting at WalMart.
