Do you carry an emergency jack in case you can't get in touch with roadside assistance? We have a wildwood xlite 18.5

I will not wait for a tire service truck so I carry a 3 ton bottle jack and an electric impact wrench hooked to a 5500 watt genset.

it works a lot better on the truck also

I carry the trailer aid plus along with a twelve ton bottle jack. Most of the time it is a lot quicker to change a tire then wait several hours for road service.

I used to carry an 8 ton bottle jack, until it developed a leak and drained it's fluid all over the inside of my RamBox. It's still on my to-do list to get a replacement so for now I'm relying on my truck's jack to handle it in a pinch.

(Note to self, I really gotta go get myself another jack!)

I carry the bottle jack. Comes in handy when the tongue slips off the blocks when you forget to chock the wheels...doh)

I have an bottle jack that is part of the pickup plus another 12 ton jack.

I see everyone using trailer aids etc, why wouldn't you just roll your good tire up on a few blocks (lynx etc)?

We had a blowout on our way home from Goshen, made several attempts to get the good tire up on the lynx levlers but it would not go up on them, was not a fun time, I'm gonna look at these trailer aids but not sure, they show the wheels farther apart then mine.

I used the trailer aid on my old tt. It didn't work, the tt flexed and kept the other wheel on the ground. Had to go back to using the hydraulic Jack. This has gotten me thinking that the current fiver is probably too heavy for my current Jack. Guess it's time to go shopping.

X2, but Trailer Aid Plus (touch taller), and a unijack (jackstand bottle jack combo unit). Just a tip - make sure you measure various clearance points along your trailer and ensure whatever jack you purchase will fit accordingly.

Probably any you find would work but for a technical answer, take the manual's published weight for the camper and figure you might have all of it on that axle. What is the answer, 3 tons?, pretty reasonable size jack. Don't forget to carry enough pads to put under it to get the tire off the ground! In fact if this is a single axle and the tire is flat the reach of the jack might let you get the flat off the axle but not have sufficient stroke to put the inflated spare on the axle. You better figure out how to handle that problem before worrying about the size of the jack. It is easy, does not require a second jack but requires more than asking a message board about the size jack needed.
