Finding TV Station Signals in Canada

Does anyone know of an app to help find over-the-air TV station signals in Ontario, Canada? I'd like to know where to point the Winegard batwing antenna to pick up local stations.

I've read about a few here that work in the USA but they don't help with Canadian stations.

To start with you could take note of what direction other campers have their antenna pointed.

TVfool.com

I’m no expert, but bounce around on their website, and input your address and it works anywhere....including right here in Ontario

Thanks! That will help. Why is that American stations on the south side of Lake Ontario come in better than Canadian stations?!

Maybe they are licensed for higher power. It really matters for digital.

Or maybe they are beaming all their power across the border. Remember back in the middle of the last century, all the AM radio stations South of the Rio Grande beaming huge power so we could receive them in the upper Midwest?

It is because all Canadian DTV stations are lower transmitting power, towers are not close together as US broadcasters, CBC dropped OTA when we went digital, some Analogue stations are running still and often on VHF which RV antenna's are not big enough to have any gain to receive at any distance. Basically they want us on cable or IP TV or satellite.

DTV Antennas is an excellent app. it will work for US, Canada, and many other countries. We have used it for almost three years and it is the most accurate that we have found.

The thing I like best about it, is you don't need to find an address, or post/zip code. It gets your location from your phone and then shows you where to point your antenna.
