Flat towing help 2251SLE

I am new to Moterhoming. My wife has just passed away in the middle of getting set up with a motorhome and I am streamlining my vehicle ownership. I have settled on a GMC canyon 4 X 4 at 4500 lbs. and I need to tow it with a Forest River 2251SLE on a Chevy chassis. My "legal" towing capacity is 5,000 lbs. This is a perfect set-up for me but will my home handle the towing OK,

GVWR = 14,500
GCWR = 22,000

That means that your TOAD needs to weigh less than 7,500, but I bet you have a 5,000 hitch rating and your TOAD is under that. You should be OK as long as you have an auxiliary braking system in the TOAD.
