It is probably a KW1:

I swapped out the somewhat proprietary KW1 filter housing with a standard whole house filter housing available everywhere and paid for itself after 2-3 filter cartridge changes.

Moved thread from the Tips and Tricks sub-forum to the Plumbing and Water Systems sub-forum since the OP's questions are specific to that sub-forum.

Check the housing canister for the filter type/ model number.
I have a FR Microlite FBRS 21. I've been ordering my filter from the link below
https://waterpur.com/
Good luck.

I have a WaterPur RCS filter in my 2021 GeoPro. FR did a crappy job of mounting it. It feelements?he wall while on the road which cracked the plastic inlet fitting. FR had used PEX x NPT fittings at the housing but they installed braided hose which has too big an ID for a PEX fitting. Their solution was to just crank the PEX clamp down tighter. After quite the struggle getting the PEX clamps off I have remounted the filter housing with a steel backing plate. That sucker is never coming off. I've also gone to barbed fittings and stainless hose clamps which is a nice secure fit with no leaks. I also added extra hose loops on the inlet and outlet as shock absorbers. I like PEX but it occurred to me after my struggle with the PEX clamp that I needed a small kit onboard in the event of a leak. I have extra braided hose, barbed splices, and hose clamps. That will work to fix most problems.

My question actually has to do with filter elements. My WaterPur RCS unit use KW1 elements. $29 plus per element. Has anyone had experience with aftermarket elements? They are half the cost and have the same flow rate and total capacity specs.

Thanks
Vern
