Try opening the link. It is a video on how to light your water heater.

Spiders and stink bugs crawl into the opening in that gold colored tube. Make sure to blow that out.

Excellent video, that is my exact units. I actually followed those exact steps though and no luck. How do I know if there is water in the tank? I had water running out of all of my interior faucets and toilet so I assume the tank has water too, right ?? If not, how do I load it and could this be why I can't make it work ??

To assure water is the HW tank, open the pressure relief valve on the tank. Water will come out of the valve when full. Also, in an older unit, you probably have an anode rod on the tank drain plug which I assume will need replaced too.

Getting my old tt ready but then.....

Is the anode a 1-1/16" socket which I don't have . Is that a standard size ?
Ok, checked again and tank appears to be full of water cause pressure valve is pouring out water . Still no large flames though on burner .

You have to track it down from the tanks to the burners. If you have propane in tanks (you said stove works) then track the line all the way to where flame is in water heater. You say pilot is on... well check the orifice at burner tube for blockage. Go to home depot, buy the correct socket and check to see if anode rod is bad, that will be next when you get flame at burner tube.

Isn't It just a plug since there's no terminals on it ?

It looks like most plugs are 1 1/16", I use a cresant wrench on mine.
Yes the anode rod is attached to the plug, it coorodes to protect the water heater. Pull the plug, flush the tank and replace anode rod if needed.

The anode rod wouldn't affect the lack of flame though, correct ??

Since I'm now getting the pilot on and I'm turning to on and the pilot remains, could it be thermocouple ?

That anode looks bad, better replace it. A bad thermocouple would keep the pilot from staying lit. Did you try changing the thermostat setting to HIGH. From you picture it shows in the LOW position, try moving it to HIGH to see if the flame comes on.
