Great way to secure plexiglas to a screen door
I searched for a long time to find a good way to keep plexiglas secure in a screen door without having to drill holes. A clear plastic offset mirror clip ( made by a company called Anchor) will slide perfectly into the indented part of screen surround. The offset part ( part with the screw hole) holds the plexiglas against the inside part of the screen door.
You need to buy two packages. They come with an extra small piece that you don't need. The upper part of the door requires 5 clips. One in the top center and two on either side. The bottom piece requires 5 also but needs the clip on the bottom instead of the top. The middle piece which is about a foot wide needs two clips on the left side of the door with the other end cut long enough to fit behind the middle brace. The middle piece by the door handle fits into the sliding track.
I've gotten lots of compliments on this system and most people think I bought the plexiglas and clips as a kit. I got the plexiglas at Lowes who also cut it to my dimensions. Used a coping handsaw to cut the top corners. I hope this helps someone.
