I use the bumper for hose storage and keep the elbow in a plastic container. My plan is to add a 5X5 fence post mod to keep excess water, etc out of the bumper.

I have to ask as this is a future mod... where is the gutter coming from. Our HD and Lowe's carries gutter but it is fancy non symmetric stuff ie fancy on one side, square on the other. Thanks.

I got mine at the local Lowes. It is the "Genova" brand 4 1/2" "Raingo" gutter. Here is a link... Shop Genova 4-1/2-in White Vinyl Raingo 10-ft Vinyl Gutter at Lowes.com

We have a clear plastic tote that we store ours in, then we just put it in the luggage compartment next to the water bay.

I cut out my factory fitted sewer hose storage tube a couple of weeks ago and replaced it with the 5" x 5" vinyl fence post mod that many others on the forum have completed. All sealed behind the original sewer hose hatch on the 38fl.

Ditto.
I used to keep it in a plastic bag but finally found a big enough plastic container that would fit through the small storage door too. I do place the end caps on the hose first but I'm going to try connecting the ends together next time.

All my sewer connections are stored in a plastic snap lid container then slid into the basement.

I also store the Rhino in a tote in the basement, I take extra care to make sure nothing but clear water runs out before I put it away.
I carry a box of disposable rubber gloves for hooking, unhooking and cleaning the hose.
I started hanging the hose over the back fence so it could air dry before winter.

Checked this mod off the list yesterday. Removed the (too short) round tube that came with it and installed 6 feet of 5x5 vinyl post with a vinyl gutter slide out tray.

I thought about doing the 5x5 vinyl post mod but I would still need the separate snap lid container for the dedicated water hose used for flushing the black tank and for my reusable rubber gloves. So I just use a Rubbermaid Roughneck Storage Box large enough to store everything together. I have the Rhinoflex sewer hose (highly recommended) with caps for both ends so the storage box stays fairly dry and sanitary.
I also pull out the Rhinoflex hose at home and let it dry/air out before storing longer term.

After the second time of me forgetting to remove the end cap while setting the hose up for tank draining, I threw the caps away. And of course, the black tank is always the first valve you pull...what a disgusting mess! For me, no caps = no mess.

I do this as well, but there never seems to be a trash can handy when removing the gloves. I have considered starting to keep a trash bag or other container in or around the street side pass through storage. Does anyone have any better suggestions?

We just wait to throw out our last trash bag when leaving and put the gloves in there. We throw it away where we have all of our other garbage or at a convenient can on our way out of the campground.

Yep.
Easiest way I have found, coffee grounds and breakfast trash and last minute cleanup before leaving.

Mine holds my Rhino, my adapter, my 45 swivel elbow and my x-hose, all in one post. The Costco box of gloves goes in the power cord, water lines, etc storage cubby. It's not like the box gets dirty and needs to be kept separate. The dirty gloves go in the garbage.

Kaadk, the x-hose type shrinking hoses get mixed reviews so I'm sticking with a traditional, good quality rubber hose. Other than that, I agree that everything should fit in the 5x5 post. The other problem I have is that those 5x5 vinyl post covers are impossible to find in my area here east of Toronto.

Yeah, you've got to go with the actual X-hose brand (blue) and not the Walmart knockoff (green). My blue's lasted forever. My dad's greens (he's had 2) both leaked from day one.
Can't help much in where to find the posts, I crossed in Michigan for mine.

I purchased the Sewer Solution and it is amazing!! It is smaller than the usual hose and it fits in the bottom of a plastic box that I store my water hoses and the items for that side of my trailer setup.
It is water fed and after dumping the tanks it cleans itself.
This is the best $90. I have spent on my trailer!
Go on utube to check it out. Search sewer solution.
It really works as advertised😄😄
