Its all your fault!

My last two campers i had i never really looked at things the way i do now since joining this and getting my new rig.

no pictures at the moment but:
installed clip things to hold our broom
bought a water pressure regulator
put felt stick on clips where metal grill frame will touch the camper wall outside
put in some different hooks and clamps in the pass through storage so things hang in place
have a bunch of command hooks that i plan to put in as i figure out what needs to hang where
just bought a used truck bed tool box to go on the a frame tongue. this will be for my hoses, power cord, batteries (yup buying 2 new ones and shut off switch) and other supplies
bought a bit for my drill gun to operate the jacks
bought some stick on levels

this weekend.... picking up some new leveling boards
for the future i want new chocks, sewer storage tube, bike rack....

oh and thanks to all your mod pics i am always looking at my cabinets and camper and think how i can add more storage

thanks for the new addictions

As an RV newbie, I've quickly come to learn that this new venture will become one of my greatest passionate money pits.

Deep into the Mods

The problem is we cannot even think of getting a new trailer because it would have none of the mods we did. The time, the cash.....starting over.....

Amazon Prime for the win!!! I have had a subscription for about 5 years now and yet to have a single negative thing to say about it. Free 2 day shipping is awesome. $3.99-$8.99 next day shipping is amazing; and if you order on a Thursday and choose 2 day (Saturday delivery) you can sometimes even get it on Friday because next day is cheaper for them than Saturday delivery. I order almost everything from Amazon.

Doing mods are great, it gives you a way to make yours different for all the others made on the assembly line. Since 2011 we have put on a doorbell, run cable for the dog between the two steps, flag pole holder, double battery box, battery cut off switch, solar battery charger, knife holder, under cabinet spice holder, change the door over the sink from up-lift to 2 center open, put slide shelves in the pantry, stick on tiles around the stove and sink, dividers in 1 drawer for misc cooking tools, change the faucets in the kitchen and bathroom, towel rack in the bath, tv in the bedroom, LED light bulbs in the ceiling fixtures, fireplace in the living room, larger tv in the living room, 2 additional 110 volt outlets in the slide out, a wall mountable DVD/CD holder, an additional heat outlet in the living room and of course the FAMOUS awning tie downs. Maybe we are done??????

Here in our Missouri zip code, the US Postal Service will deliver Amazon Prime parcels on Sunday. Couldn't believe it. Plus, I even found a new exterior piece for our 21 year-old Suburban after our local dealership said they weren't available.

We are rv newbies, and although we haven't made any mods as of yet, we are making our list.

I hate amazon prime, it makes it too easy to go overboard. I got almost everything we needed from amazon, and yes I do get Sunday delivery here too.

Be careful to spend your money more on the doing, rather than the accumulating.

Just sayin'...
